Meet Madeleine Scholtes, a Dutch designer. In 2020, she graduated as a furniture designer from Hout- en Meubileringscollege in Amsterdam. After graduating, she moved to Eindhoven to further develop her practice at Design Academy Eindhoven. Since 2023, she has been working from her own studio at Strijp-S, Eindhoven.

Madeleine transforms overlooked materials into bold, thoughtful design pieces. Guided by form, composition, and craftsmanship, she creates objects that are functional, surprising, and enduring. Her work balances creativity and quality, giving everyday materials a new purpose while reflecting a commitment to adaptable and meaningful design.

The Stool







2024The Stool from the Lost and Found collection is an upcycled hand crafted product made from a variety of materials. Madeleine collects materials from second-hand shops, mainly focusing on shape. By puzzling together a balanced composition, she creates a unique and playful stool.
