Meet Madeleine Scholtes, a young Dutch designer based in the Netherlands. In 2020, Madeleine graduated as a furniture designer from Hout-en-Meubileringscollege in Amsterdam. After graduating, she moved to Eindhoven to further develop within the walls of Design Academy Eindhoven.

Madeleine finds inspiration in her direct surroundings using sustainability as the leading thead through her unique designs. 

Since 2023, she works from her studio at Spoor-K. Feel free to reach out for a visit.

Sip and Make



2023

InstagramSip and Make is a project Madeleine initiated at the end of 2022 with the aim of creating connections among friends through creativity. She decided to organize monthly gatherings where the main goals were socialization and creativity. In March 2023, the first edition took place in her living room and, after its success, she moved the gatherings to the studio with a capacity of up to 20 participants. 

Over the past few months, Sip and Make was promoted via Instagram and interest from paying participants grew quickly, with editions quickly selling out. The active community is currently numbers 80 creatives. It is time to take the next step, exploring the growth of this concept and making it accessible to a wider audience, allowing everyone to participate in the experience. This March, Sip and Make will mark its first anniversary by collaborating with Tasty Folk, a dance event organizer, on a Sip and Make special edition.
